Callie Here. So today was a really fun day on the town. We arrived at our bed and breakfast in the afternoon after a two-hour bus ride and a really good lunch! The bus ride was really fun, it is so pretty here, I would have never imagined it to be this pretty. It almost looks fake. Right when we got to this bed and breakfast we went into the town. It was very chaotic, people are everywhere, but they are so nice. The only scary thing about the town is that the cars go very fast, they are psycho and are not afraid to run you over if you walk out in front of them. We got a lot of bracelets and some other stuff, they have a lot of fun things here. The kids are so cute! I can’t wait to go to our home stay family. This trip is sooooo much funn!!!! Ttyl……… It’s Morgan here! Just adding on to what Callie, my roomie, said, today was wonderful and the first to a great trip! Along with all the things Callie mentioned, we got the chance to go shopping in the village and make small talk with the native villagers! Callie and I even had a conversation [in Spanish] with a 14 year old girl! After getting out on the town, we started off with a vigorous scavenger hunt, it got really heated and competitive, and although my team was on top, we ended up getting in 2nd place, too bad! Haha. Well enough of that, this trip has been full of surprise and adventure! I can’t wait to go to stay with our host families and get to know more about where we are! This is going to be SO fun! Thanks Callie and Morgan for the very informative update. Love hearing from a girls point of view! You will also have to provide information for the boys because trust me, there will be no details from Mitchell! We are thrilled that you all are having fun and there safe. Enjoy the trip.
